PANCHKULA: Little Paras insisted to accompany his grandfather to their showroom on the day the family lost him. Two-year-old Paras, died on Saturday night, when he accidentally got locked in the car.
“He was pestering me to take him along. Everyone kept refusing, but he kept insisting. As a grandfather, I should have been strict but I wasn’t. I took him along not realizing what was waiting for him,” said Bhupinder Singh, deceased’s grandfather, while bitterly sobbing.

“Paras had recently joined a play way school. The whole family was very excited about this new phase in his life. Singh is feeling quite guilty about the whole episode,” said Tarsem Garg, one of the neighbours.
In a tragic incident on Saturday evening, two-year-old boy Paras, a resident of Sector 7 in Panchkula, died of suffocation when he accidentally got locked in his car. Paras, was rushed to General Hospital in Sector 6, where he was declared brought dead. Grandfather Bhupinder Singh was taking lunch for Paras’s father at the showroom in Mansa Devi Complex along with three more cousins. When they came back home, after a while, the family noticed that Paras was missing. Police was also informed and when the latter reached, they saw Paras lying unconscious in car.
